GTI Once Again Recognized as a Top Workplace and Ranked in Top Ten for Mid-Size Companies
November 5, 2021
Des Plaines, IL
For the second year in a row, GTI has been recognized among the top ten best mid-size local employers. Out of hundreds of companies that participated, GTI once again received a Chicago Tribune Top Workplaces award for being one of 2021’s most engaging workplaces and home to an inclusive and creative culture.
A Top Workplace is an employee-focused organization that is successful because its staff enjoys what they do, embraces their mission, and feels like valued teammates. This is the third consecutive time that GTI has been included on the list of best places to work in Chicagoland, which is based on anonymous employee input.
Innovation, open-mindedness, and encouraging different points of view were ranked by employees as GTI’s leading strengths. Senior managers feeling informed about company strategy and direction, as well as providing the flexibility employees need to balance their professional and personal life were other areas that earned high scores. Cultivating this type of collaborative culture builds a robust foundation for GTI's future.
Notes David Carroll, GTI President and CEO, “We are exceptionally proud of this achievement and our organization. Every day our dedicated employees, the lifeblood of our organization, leverage their talents to deliver clean and resilient solutions to decarbonize energy systems around the globe. Their passion and commitment create an incredible environment at GTI.”
